(1)There shall be a Secretary to the Commission who shall be a public officer appointed by the President on the advice of the Public Service Commission upon such terms and conditions as may be specified in the letter of appointment.

(2)The Secretary shall be a person with knowledge and experience in matters related to land.

(3)The Secretary shall not be a member of the Commission but shall conduct the correspondence of the Commission, keep records and perform such other functions as the Commission may direct.

(4)The Secretary shall keep custody of the seal of the Commission.

(5)The Commission shall have such other officers and employees as may be necessary for the discharge of its functions, and those officers or employees shall be appointed by the Public Service Commission on such terms and conditions as may be specified in their letters of appointment.
