You have the right to take part in your own culture, practice your traditions, and enjoy your community's way of life. This includes being able to speak your language, celebrate your customs, and preserve your cultural heritage. Government cannot stop you from living according to your culture as long as it does not harm others or break the law. However, no cultural practice can be used to violate someone else's rights, such as through harmful rituals or discrimination. You are free to join with others to protect and develop your culture. The government must also protect the cultures of all communities in Uganda and promote harmony among them.
