This constitutional article has been deleted and has no current legal effect. It previously dealt with interim membership of the Court of Appeal, but that provision is no longer in force. There are no rights, restrictions, or government actions based on this article.

<del>Upon the coming into force of this Constitution and until justices of the Court of Appeal are appointed under <span class="underline-gradient ref" data-tippy-content data-ref="134">article 134</span> of this Constitution, the Chief Justice shall, in consultation with the Principal Judge, from time to time, designate such number of judges of the High Court as may be necessary to constitute the Court of Appeal.</del>

Article 268 (repealed) allowed High Court judges to temporarily serve on Uganda’s Court of Appeal.
