22.Power to regulate traffic

(1)A police officer in uniform may, for the purpose of preserving public order and safety, stop, divert or otherwise direct and regulate the course of traffic.

(2)Any person who does not comply with the direction or regulation issued under subsection (1) commits an offence and is liable, on conviction, to a fine not exceeding six currency points or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three months.
