Section 59: Land Board Members' Term of Office and Removal

59.Tenure of office of members of board

(1)The members of a board shall hold office for a period of five years and may be eligible for re-appointment for a further one term.

(2)A member of a board may be removed from office by the district council on the recommendation of the district executive committee only forβ€”

(a)inability to perform the functions of his or her office arising from infirmity of body or mind;

(b)misbehaviour or misconduct;

(c)incompetence; or
