54.Powers of Commission
For the purpose of performing its functions under the Constitution and this Act, the Commission mayβ
(a)acquire by purchase or exchange or otherwise hold land rights, easements or interests in land;
(b)erect, alter, enlarge, improve or demolish any building or other erection on any land held by it;
(c)sell, lease or otherwise deal with the land held by it;
(d)cause surveys, plans, maps, drawings and estimates to be made by or through its officers or agents; and
(e)do such other things as may be necessary for or incidental to the exercise of those powers and the performance of those functions.
