290.Transitional provision relating to Kampala
Until Parliament passes a law in accordance with Article 5 of this Constitution to provide for the administration and development of Kampala as the capital city for Uganda, Kampala the boundary of which is required to be delineated by Article 5 of this Constitution shall be administered as a district in the manner in which Kampala was administered before the thirtieth day of September, 2005.
