You can lose your Ugandan citizenship if you obtained it by registration and you serve in the armed forces or security forces of a country that is hostile to or at war with Uganda. You can also lose it if you got your citizenship through fraud, deceit, bribery, or by making deliberate false statements in your application. If you commit espionage against Uganda, you may also lose your citizenship. However, voluntarily getting another country's citizenship is no longer a reason to lose your Ugandan citizenship by registration.
